How to Get Started

Steps Toward a Brighter Future

Thank you for your interest in accessing services. The Coconino Career Center is here to assist you with identifying what’s next in your job search and career growth. Our services are offered through workshops, training, and one-on-one coaching to help you to identify your needs.

  1. Your first steps are to contact the Coconino Career Center by visiting our office at 2625 N. King Street or call (928) 679-7400 or (877) 358-6714 requesting additional information, then register on the Arizona Job Connection website, continuing your registration through the PLUS account, at Arizona @ Work Site. These steps will provide you with additional tools in your job search.
  2. Connect: A Workforce Development Specialist will contact you and discuss what your goals and needs are. They will then help you to make your next-step decisions. If additional assistance is needed the Workforce Specialist will provide you with a full WIOA application. The application will include instructions on documentation that will be needed to complete the application process.
  3. Document Review: This step will take approximately 1/2 hour and is an appointment with our document specialist. You will need to bring all of your required information and documents to this appointment. Once you have your application complete and all documents needed call (928) 679-7400 or (877) 358-6714 to set up a document review appointment.
  4. Selection, Interview, and Plan: This step will take approximately 1 hour. You will meet with a Workforce Development Specialist to assess your career and employment goals and to develop an individual plan.
