The Treasurer, elected to a four-year term, is the ex-officio tax collector.
Is responsible for the safety, disbursement, and investment of funds on deposit in the Treasurer's office under the direction of the Board of Supervisors acting as the Board of Deposits.
The Treasurer's office mails all real and personal property tax notices and collects all property taxes for the state, county, incorporated cities and towns, school districts, and special districts, and distributes the collected revenues to the taxing entities.
Is the bank for the County. The office receives all revenue from county departments. The office pays warrants issued by the county, schools, fire districts, and other special districts of the county.
Is responsible for meeting the debt service for bonds issued by the county, school districts, and special districts.
